Game #25 - Kansas
• Iowa State plays its third-straight ranked opponent Tuesday night when it hosts No. 13 Kansas at Hilton Coliseum...the Cyclones have won three of four home games against ranked foes this season and have won 22 of their last 29 games against ranked opponents at Hilton Coliseum.
• Overall, ISU is in a stretch of playing seven of nine games against teams ranked at tip-off with the two non-ranked foes being on the road.

• Iowa State beat Oklahoma Saturday for its third-straight Big 12 home win over a ranked team...ISU's last Big 12 home loss came on Jan. 1 in overtime against Texas, since then it has won its conference games at Hilton Coliseum by an average of 13.0 points per game.
• Under Steve Prohm, ISU has 10 top-25 wins, the fourth-most in school history...only Johnny Orr (24), Fred Hoiberg (23) and Larry Eustachy (12) had more wins over ranked opponents in ISU history...Saturday's win was also the 60th for Prohm at Iowa State.
• Lindell Wigginton, a two-time Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honoree, is second among Big 12 freshmen in scoring average (16.3), which would currently set the ISU freshman scoring average record held by Curtis Stinson...his nine 20-point games is an ISU rookie record and his 54 three-pointers made are second-most on ISU's freshman chart, just eight behind Jake Sullivan's record...Wigginton scored 26 points against Oklahoma...in conference action, he's averaging 17.7 points, the fourth-best average among freshmen in the nation's top-six leagues.
• Redshirt freshman Cameron Lard has perhaps been ISU's most consistent player in Big 12 play...he is averaging 15.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.8 blocks while scoring in double figures in 11 of 12 Big 12 games...Lard finished with 19 points and 17 rebounds against Oklahoma, his second 15-15 game this season...in his last two games, he is averaging 20.5 points and 11.0 rebounds while making 77.3 percent of his shots (17-for-22), earning him his second Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honor...he is one of three freshman nationally and one of just seven players overall averaging 12-8-2...Lard has posted seven double-doubles, which is the third most by a freshman in school history...he has already set the ISU freshman record with 48 blocks...he is 11th nationally shooting 64.4 percent from the field, which would break David Harrison's Big 12 freshman record of 63.8 percent...he is averaging 6.0 offensive boards the last five games
• In conference play, ISU and Duke are the only teams in the nation's top six leagues to have two rookies averaging 15 ppg.
• Donovan Jackson is second on the team averaging 15.5 points after scoring 19 points against Oklahoma...he is 54-of-58 from the free-throw line, topping the Big 12 at 93.1 percent...he's among the nation's top-25 this season in 3-pointers made (79) and with 123 made in his career he ranks 14th all-time at ISU.
• Solomon Young scored 11 points and had a career-high four steals against Oklahoma...he is averaging 9.2 points and 6.6 rebounds while shooting 57.1 percent from the field the last five games.
• ISU's Nick Weiler-Babb (left knee tendinitis), who is one of college basketball's most well-rounded players, remains day-to-day...he has missed four games...a stat-sheet stuffer, Weiler-Babb has seven double-doubles this season...Weiler-Babb ranks 10th nationally averaging 7.0 assists per game and is fourth in the Big 12 with a 2.6 a/to ratio, posting six double-digit assist games...he was averaging a team-high 37.3 minutes per game.
