• Iowa State plays the second of three consecutive ranked opponents Saturday when it hosts No. 17 Oklahoma at Hilton Coliseum...the Cyclones have won two of three home games against ranked foes this season and have won 21 of their last 28 games against ranked opponents at Hilton Coliseum.

• Iowa State dropped its second straight game Wednesday when it fell at No. 7 Texas Tech as the Red Raiders avenged an 18-point loss at Hilton Coliseum.
• Under Steve Prohm, ISU has nine top-25 wins, tied for the fourth-most in school history...the next win for Prohm will be his 60th at ISU.
• Saturday's game will feature the two Big 12 players with the most games with at least 24 points...Donovan Jackson (8) and OU's Trae Young (18) lead the league in 24-point games...Jackson is second on the team averaging 15.4 points...Jackson is 48-of-52 from the free-throw line, topping the Big 12 at 92.3 percent...he's among the nation's top-25 this season in 3-pointers made (76) and with 120 made in his career he ranks 15th all-time at ISU.
• Lindell Wigginton, a two-time Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honoree, is second among Big 12 freshmen in scoring average (15.9), trailing only OU's Young...he has matched the ISU freshman record with eight 20-point games (Curtis Stinson, Marcus Fizer)...his 51 three-pointers made are second-most on ISU's freshman chart, just 11 behind Jake Sullivan's record.
• Redshirt freshman Cameron Lard has perhaps been ISU's most consistent player in Big 12 play...he is averaging 15.4 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.9 blocks while scoring in double figures in 10 of 11 Big 12 games...he is averaging 15.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in nine career starts...Lard had a career-high 22 points against Texas Tech, making 10-of-11 shots from the field in just 20 minutes...he is one of three freshman nationally and one of just 11 players overall averaging 12-7-2...Lard has posted six double-doubles, which ties Fizer for the third most by a freshman in school history...he has already set the ISU freshman record with 46 blocks...he is 11th nationally shooting 64.4 percent from the field, which would break David Harrison's Big 12 freshman record of 63.8 percent.
•  ISU will be without Nick Weiler-Babb (left knee tendinitis), who is one of college basketball's most well-rounded players, for a fourth game...a stat-sheet stuffer, Weiler-Babb is the only player nationally averaging at least 11 points to go along with seven rebounds and seven assists...he has seven double-doubles this season...Weiler-Babb ranks 10th nationally averaging 7.0 assists per game and is fourth in the Big 12 with a 2.6 a/to ratio, posting six double-digit assist games...he was averaging a team-high 37.3 minutes per game.
•  Zoran Talley Jr. is again expected to start in Weiler-Babb's place, making his fourth start as a Cyclone...Talley, who missed seven games earlier this season with a stress fracture in his foot, is averaging 8.0 points in the last seven games.
• In conference play, ISU, Duke and Kentucky are the only teams in the nation's top six leagues to have two rookies averaging 14 ppg.
