Game #30Â - Oklahoma
• Iowa State wraps up the regular season Friday night at Oklahoma...the game will be Steve Prohm's 100th as head coach of the Cyclones...he is the fifth Cyclone coach to have at least 60 wins in his first 100 games (Bill Strannigan, Tim Floyd, Larry Eustachy, Fred Hoiberg).
#CycloneNotes
• Iowa State was unable to close the home season with a win as it fell to Oklahoma State Tuesday evening at Hilton Coliseum...the Cyclones are looking to pick up their first true road win of the season Friday night (0-9).
• Iowa State boasts one of the top freshman duos in the nation in Lindell Wigginton and Cameron Lard...the pair makes ISU one of just three teams nationally, the others being Duke and Kentucky, to have two freshmen averaging at least 14 points per game in conference action...Wigginton is averaging 17.5 points and Lard 14.5 points against Big 12 foes, ranking them both among the top-15 in scoring in conference games only...with 820 total points combined, they are already the second-highest scoring freshman duo in school history, needing just 18 total points to pass Fred Hoiberg and Julius Michalik in 1991-92.
• Wigginton, a three-time Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honoree, is second among Big 12 freshmen in scoring average (16.5), above the ISU freshman scoring average record held by Curtis Stinson (16.2)...his 11 20-point games and 65 3-pointers made are an ISU rookie record....he needs two points to become the first Cyclone rookie and only the eighth Big 12 rookie to score 300 points in league games...since 1980, only three freshmen have started every game for the Cyclones: Ron Harris (1980-81), Adam Haluska (2002-03) and Craig Brackins (2007-08) as Wigginton has done...he's averaging 24.5 points the last two games, scoring 29 against West Virginia and 20 against Oklahoma State.
• Lard, a redshirt freshman, is averaging 14.5 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in Big 12 games, while scoring in double figures in 14 of 17...Lard has posted double-doubles eight times overall, which is the third most by a freshman in school history...he is one of three freshman nationally and one of just eight players overall averaging 12-8-2...he has already set the ISU freshman record with 57 blocks, three shy of becoming the fifth Cyclone ever to have 60 blocks in a season.
•  Donovan Jackson has connected on 92 three-pointers this season, making him just the fifth Cyclone to hit 90 threes in a season...he is just 10 shy of the ISU single-season record of 102 set by Dedric Willoughby (1996-97)...in his career, Jackson has 136 career 3-pointers (11th in school history)...he has made a three in 16 consecutive games...Jackson leads the Big 12 shooting 89.3 percent at the line.
•  Zoran Talley Jr. is averaging 10.3 points since entering the starting lineup nine games ago...he is coming off a 15-point performance against Oklahoma State.
•  Freshman Terrence Lewis has seen his playing time increase recently due to injuries and he has made the most of it...Lewis has scored 12 points in each of the last two games and is 7-for-13 (53.8%) behind the arc during that stretch.
•  ISU has had a rash of injuries this season, with five of 10 eligible players missing a total of 34 games entering Friday's tilt...ISU has played just 10 of 29 games with all players available...the Cyclones will be without starters Nick Weiler-Babb and Solomon Young for the fourth consecutive game.

• Last season, ISU scholarship players missed five total games due to injury...the total this season is at 34 games missed.
• Wigginton and Jackson have combined to make 69.8 percent (157 of 225) of Iowa State's three-pointers this season...Jackson has made a 3-pointer in 16-straight games, the best streak of his career, and Wigginton has made one in 15 consecutive games.
• In ISU's four Big 12 wins it is shooting 49 percent from field, 40.5 percent on threes and averaging 81.5 points...defensively opponents are shooting just 38.7 percent from field, 25.8 percent on threes and averaging 68.5 points in those games.
• Wigginton is second in points scored by ISU freshmen...he is 56 points behind Curtis Stinson's record...he is the seventh Cyclone freshman to score 400 points.
• ISU is one of six schools nationally with two freshman averaging at least 13 points per game for the season.
