AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team begins Big 12 play on Wednesday at West Virginia. First serve between the Cyclones and Mountaineers in Morgantown at WVU Coliseum, will be at 5 p.m. Central Time.

The Mountaineers come into Wednesday's contest with a 7-5 record and riding a four-match winning streak after picking up wins over Morehead State, Penn and Wake Forest in the Mountaineer Classic over the weekend. WVU is led by Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week Katie DeMeo, who averages a league-best 1.61 blocks per set. In attack, she averages 2.11 kills per set at a .326 hitting percentage.
Iowa State has won all 12 meetings between the two teams since WVU joined the Big 12 in 2012. Five of Iowa State's six wins in Morgantown have come by way of sweep, including the most-recent meeting.
