LASTÂ TIMEÂ OUTÂ - CYCLONES FALL AT OREGON STATE
• Iowa State bounced back from a nine-point halftime deficit to take the lead but was ultimately unable to fend off Oregon State in Corvallis, falling 80-74...the Cyclones had three in double figures, led by 16 from Rasir Bolton.
• In addition to Bolton, a pair of Cyclone sophomores had outstanding performances...Haliburton had 15 points, 12 assists, seven rebounds and two steals to post his second double-double of the season...George Conditt IV had his best overall game as a Cyclone, finishing 6-for-7 from the field and with a career-high 14 points...Conditt also had six rebounds and five blocks in the loss.
• The Cyclones shot 54.8 percent in the second half but just 44.1 percent for the game.
• Jacobson had seven offensive rebounds, matching his career high...he finished with nine points and nine rebounds in the game.
• Oregon State was led by 27 points and 11 rebounds from Tres Tinkle, who hit a pair of threes down the stretch to take control of the game.
IOWAÂ STATE-NORTHERNÂ ILLINOISÂ SERIESÂ NOTES
• Iowa State is 5-2 all-time against Northern Illinois, including 3-0 since 2011...ISU is 5-0 against the Huskies in Ames (3-0 at Hilton Coliseum).
• ISU won the last meeting in 2017 by a final score of 94-80...Lindell Wigginton (28) and Donovan Jackson (24) combined to score 54 points for the Cyclones, while Eugene German scored 28 for NIU in his sophomore season.
