Cyclones Unplugged Set for Aug. 22

AMES, Iowa – The second-annual Iowa State Athletics Department kick-off event, "Cyclones Unplugged," will once again be held downtown Des Moines later this summer.
Cyclones Unplugged, brought to you by Bud Light, will be held at Cowles Commons on Thursday, Aug. 22 from 5:30 - 8 p.m. Cyclone fans will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with several head coaches - including head football coach Matt Campbell, head men's basketball coach Steve Prohm and head women's basketball coach Bill Fennelly, head volleyball coach Christy Johnson-Lynch, head wrestling coach Kevin Dresser, various assistant coaches and Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard.
The "Voice of the Cyclones" John Walters, CY and members of the spirit squad will also be on hand throughout the evening.
The evening will feature food and beverage for purchase, a short speaking program and live classic rock music from Des Moines' own Cold Filtered. A beer garden and food trucks will be on-site including Cornbred Barbecue, Roadside Tacos, The Outside Scoop, and more. Admission is free and open to all Iowa State alumni, supporters and fans.
