Cyclones Set to Play at K-State Fall Invite

AMES, Iowa -Â Â The Cyclones return to the courts this weekend for their third tournament of the season, the K-State Fall Invite.
2020 K-STATE FALL INVITE
Kansas State University will host the event, with Kansas joining the Cyclones and Wildcats.
Matches will be held in Manhattan at the outdoor Mike Goss Tennis Stadium or the indoor Body First Tennis Center, depending on the weather conditions.Â
The tournament, which is scheduled for Oct. 30 - Nov. 1, will feature a doubles match and two singles matches each day.
PLAYER TO WATCH
Newcomer Ellie Murphy looked impressive in the Cyclones last outing, posting a 3-0 mark in doubles action.
On day two of the Kansas Invitational, Murphy and Ting-Pei Chang posted a 2-0 doubles record. They beat the formidable K-State pairing of Manami Ukita and Margot Decker. She also earned another doubles win the next day with senior Maty Cancini.
The freshman's unscathed doubles record was a big part of Iowa State's success at the Kansas Invitational, and she'll look to maintain that high level of play this weekend in Manhattan.

Rewriting the Record Books - Maty Cancini is now in fourth place all-time in overall career wins, career singles wins and career doubles wins at Iowa State after picking up four wins at the Kansas Invitational
