AMES, Iowa – Janet Anson is the most decorated gymnast in Iowa State history. The Kansas City, Missouri native overcame multiple injuries on her road to Ames to put up numbers that are untouched in ISU history.
Anson finished eight-time All-American, three-time Big 12 champion, three-time NCAA Regional champion, two-time Big 12 Gymnast of the Year, two-time Iowa State Athlete of the Year and was the winner of the 2007 AAI Award, given to the nation's top senior gymnast.
Her accomplishments has seen her get inducted into the Iowa State Athletics Letterwinners Club Hall of Fame.
