Iowa State Announces 2023 Gymnastics Schedule

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State has announced its 2023 gymnastics schedule. The regular season schedule features 11 competition dates, with four taking place in Hilton Coliseum.

The Cyclones will begin their season taking on Northern Illinois at Chow's Winter Classic Cup on Saturday, Jan. 14 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Iowa State will make its 2023 home debut on Friday, Jan. 20 when the Cyclones host Eastern Michigan and UC Davis.

The team will finish the month of January with a trip to Morgantown, W. Va. to face Big 12 foe West Virginia on Jan. 29.

February will begin with a pair of away meets. The first meet will be against the Oklahoma Sooners on Feb. 3. The Cyclones will then travel to Denton, Texas on Feb. 5 for a matchup against Texas Woman's University.

Iowa State will return home on Sunday, Feb. 12 to face Central Michigan before traveling to St. Charles, Mo. to square off against Lindenwood on Feb. 17.

ISU will finish the month of February with back-to-back home meets. The Cyclones will welcome Alaska-Anchorage to Hilton Coliseum on Feb. 19 before Iowa State hosts Denver in its final home meet of the season on Feb. 24.

The final two regular season meets are on the road prior to the Big 12 Gymnastics Championship. To begin the month of March, Iowa State will face in-state rival Iowa in Iowa City on March 4. Afterwards, ISU will head west to face the UCLA Bruins in Los Angeles on March 11.

The Big 12 Gymnastics Championships will be hosted by West Virginia and will take place on Sat. March 18 in Morgantown, W. Va.

The 2023 NCAA Gymnastics Championships begin with the regional rounds taking place March 29 through April 1. The 2023 NCAA Gymnastics Championships final rounds will take place on April 13-15.

All competitions are subject to change. More information regarding home meets will be announced closer to the season.
