EVANSTON, Ill. – Iowa State finished play at the Wildcat Invite with an 8-1 record in singles action after picking up another pair of wins on the courts Sunday.
Sunday's action got started with Anna Supapitch Kuearum and Sofia Cabezas teaming up to defeat Northwestern's Briana Crowley, 6-3.
Supapitch Kuearum then beat Pratt in singles action, 6-3, 7-5, to finish 3-0 in singles play this weekend. Cabezas also had a 3-0 mark this weekend, winning two of three matches in three sets, including a 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (5) win today against Clarissa Hand.
The Cyclones are back in action starting Thursday at the ITA Regionals in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
