AMES, Iowa -Â No. 7 Iowa State travels to Iowa City for its first road dual of the season against No. 2 Iowa in the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series Sunday at 1:30 p.m. With both teams ranked in the top seven of the most recent NWCA Coaches Poll, this marks one of the most anticipated renditions of the rivalry in recent history.

Iowa State enters Sunday's dual on an 18-dual winning streak, the second-longest active streak nationally and fourth-longest in program history. With Iowa the victors in the last 17 Cy-Hawk duals, the Cyclones are looking for their first win against the Hawkeyes, and first in Iowa City, since 2004.

Iowa State enters Sunday with an 11-0 advantage in the 2022-23 Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series. A victory in wrestling would clinch this rendition of the rivalry contest for the Cyclones and would be ISU's second consecutive win in the series.
The Cyclones picked up points in the fall from volleyball, football, soccer and men's & women's cross country. Sunday's wrestling contest will kick off a week of Cy-Hawk competition which also includes women's basketball (Dec. 7), men's basketball (Dec. 8) and women's swimming & diving (Dec. 9).
