AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State swimming and diving team (8-1, 2-0 Big 12) hosts Kansas (2-2, 0-0 Big 12) for a two-day dual this Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. The dual will honor Iowa State's eight seniors.Â
THE OPPONENT- Kansas
Senior Day will take place on Saturday, while senior presentations will take place prior to competition. Kansas seniors will also be honored as this is their final dual. Iowa State and Kansas have similarly picked up a win against South Dakota and a loss to Nebraska this season.Â
LAST TIME- WVU/Villanova
Iowa State picked up the wins against West Virginia and Villanova to improve to 8-1 for the first time in Iowa State history. The two victories extend the Cyclones dual win streak to five, the best since the 2010-11 season. Both Michelle Schlossmacher Smith and Lehr Thorson surpassed the 100 point mark on the season.Â
WHAT TO WATCH FOR - Breaststroke
Martha Haas has currently won four straight breaststroke races. The senior also sits only half a point away from cracking into the all-time point scorers list. Cyclone breaststrokers have swept breast events five times throughout the season.Â

Next up, the Cyclones prep for the Big 12 Championships in Morgantown, W. Va. Competition takes place from Wednesday, Feb. 23 through Saturday, Feb. 26.Â
