Cyclones Tie For 15th At Hootie At Bulls Bay

AWENDAW, S.C. – The Iowa State men's golf team tied for 15^th at the Hootie at Bulls Bay with a 54-hole 884 total.

There was a four-way tie for first place with South Carolina, N.C. State, Missouri, and East Tennessee State each posting scores of 844. After a playoff ended due to darkness, South Carolina and East Tennessee State were crowned co-champions.

Nate Vance led the Cyclones by tying for 21^st at 214. After a first-round 74, Vance was 4-under in his last 36 holes, including posting a career-low 68 in the second round.

Josh Hetherington tied for 68^th at 222. His low score of the tournament was a 72 in the final round.

Next up for the Cyclones is the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, April 4-5 in Chandler, Ariz.
