Ames, Iowa -Â Iowa State closes out its regular season at home this weekend as the Cyclones host Kansas for a three-game set beginning Friday at 4 p.m. ISU is jockeying for Big 12 Championship seeding, as seeds 4-7 are yet to be determined.
Saturday's contest will be Iowa State's cancer awareness game. Sunday, four Cyclone seniors will be recognized for their contribuitions to the program shortly following the game.

- Big 12 Championship seeds are at stake this weekend and the Cyclones could finish as high as No. 4 or as low as No. 7. With a sweep over Kansas or two wins and two Baylor losses (vs. Texas), ISU would clinch the No. 4 seed, its best finish in program history.
- Iowa State was victorious, 9-0 in five innings Wednesday at Drake. Karlie Charles tossed a gem (5.0 IP/0 R/1 H/5 K/0 BB) while Angelina Allen logged a career-best four RBIs.
- Right-handed pitcher Ellie Spelhaug was tabbed the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week Tuesday, the second weekly honor of her career. The junior posted a 1.66 ERA across 12.2 innings and picked up two wins in her four appearances last week.
