Colbert Tabbed Cyclone Club Student-Athlete of the Week

AMES, Iowa – Jada Colbert has been named the Cyclone Club Student-Athlete of the Week after leading Iowa State soccer to a Cy-Hawk victory and a draw against South Dakota last week.
Colbert scored two goals in a 2-1 win against Iowa in the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series Thursday evening. She is the second player in program history to score two goals in a game against the Hawkeyes.
The Freehold, N.J. native registered seven shots, three on goal, in two matches last week. Colbert logged 78 minutes against the Hawkeyes and 74 minutes against south Dakota.
Colbert and the Cyclones are back in action Thursday against Omaha. Kickoff from the Cyclone Soccer Complex is set for 6 p.m. and can be streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
