Silkowitz Named Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State senior Jordan Silkowitz is the Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday. This is Silkowitz's first Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week honor this season and the fifth time she's earned the honor in her career.
The native of Fairfax, Va., set a new career high with twelve saves in Iowa State's 2-1 victory over in-state rival Iowa this past Thursday and added three more saves versus South Dakota on Sunday.Â
Silkowitz is currently leading the Big 12 in saves with 41, and has played every minute this season between the posts for the Cyclones.
