MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – Iowa State scored a season-high 195.825 but fell to the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Towson Tigers. The Cyclones had three Cyclones tie for highest score in the quad-meet; Kaia Parker scored a meet high 9.850 on vault, Loganne Basuel notched a 9.900 on beam, and Maddie Diab posted a 9.925 on floor.
Vault – 48.925
The Cyclones were led by Parker, who scored a 9.850 on vault. Emilie Hong posted a 9.800 herself, while Josie Bergstrom and Ana Irene Palacios each scored a 9.775.
Bars – 48.275
Iowa State was led by Madelyn Langkamp on bars, who scored a 9.775. Senior Basuel notched a season-high score of 9.725 on bars. Both Lauren Thomas and Laura Cooke posted scores of 9.700.
Beam – 49.225
The Cyclone were led by Basuel, who scored a career-high 9.900 on beam. Natalie Horowitz posted a season-high 9.850. Three Cyclones, Kelsey Boychuk, Bergstrom and Loyim notched scores of 9.825. Iowa State's beam score of 49.225 marks a season-high for the Cyclones.
