Cyclones In Fifth After Day One Of Fighting Irish Classic

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Cyclones finished the first round of the Fighting Irish Classic in first and ended round two in fifth.Â
Freshman, Owen Sawyer, and Zach May led the Cyclones through day one of the tournament and are tied for 18th. Sawyer had seven birdies, four of them being in the second round and May had 5.
Luke Gutschewski is currently tied for 27th with a two round score of 143. Gutschewski matched May's five birdies.
Paul Beauvy is tied for 37th with seven birdies and a score of 144.
Dianchao Wu is tied for 43rd with a score of 145. Wu had seven birdies, six of them were in the first round.Â
The Cyclones had the lowest round score of 276 in the first round. The Fighting Irish Classic will continue for the third and final round on Monday, Oct. 2.
