Iowa State Center Parking Update

As part of the ongoing CYTown project, work started November 20 on two parking lots, A4 & A5, that will impact individuals attending future events at the Iowa State Center, including Hilton Coliseum. Recent weather conditions have allowed for a head start on construction of these two parking lots before the winter and will allow for their completion before the 2024 fall semester. The construction in parking lots A4 & A5 will reduce the amount of free public parking that is available for the remainder of the 2023-24 winter events seasons. Cyclone Club donor parking in lots B1, C1-C5 and D3-D5 will not be impacted by the construction.

For additional public parking options, please consider the following:
               *Parking Lot 85E
               *Parking Lot G6 (when clear of snow)
               *Parking Lots S2-S8 (may have additional availability for weekend games and while students are on winter break)
               *Residential neighborhoods west of Beach Avenue or east of University Boulevard (be sure to follow all posted parking regulations)
               *Campus Parking Lots
                               -Many campus parking lots offer free parking on the weekend including those at Lied Recreation (Parking Map)
                               -Memorial Union parking ramp (parking fee required)
On the following dates, public parking will be very limited due to events also occurring in CY Stephens Auditorium and the Alumni Association and we strongly encourage using the alternate options listed above:
