Big 12 Announces 2023 Conference Schedule

AMES, Iowa – In coordination with the Big 12's release of the conference schedule, Iowa State has announced its 2023 Big 12 Conference soccer schedule.

The conference schedule features 10 Big 12 matchups, with each team playing five home and five away matchups.

The Big 12 Conference features five teams who made the 2022 College Cup – BYU, UCF, Texas, TCU and West Virginia – and the Cyclones will face three of them.

Conference action begins Sept. 14 as Oklahoma State comes to town. After opening Big 12 play at home, the Cyclones will head east for a pair of matchups at West Virginia (Sept. 21) and Cincinnati (Sept. 24).

ISU's two-game road trip is matched by a two-game homestand as conference newcomers Houston (Sept. 28) and BYU (Oct. 2) make their first trek to Ames for a first-time meeting with the Cyclones.

Following its two-game homestand, Iowa State will head south down I-35 for matchups at Baylor (Oct. 5) and Texas (Oct. 8) in its penultimate road trip of the season.

The Cyclones close out the 2023 regular season by alternating home and away matches. On Oct. 12, Kansas will come to Ames for a Thursday night matchup, followed by Iowa State heading to Manhattan, Kan. to square off with the Wildcats. The final match of the regular season, as well as the final home match, is against Texas Tech on Oct. 23.

ISU will not match up with TCU, Oklahoma or UCF this season. Both TCU and UCF were members of the 2022 College Cup.
