Following a 69-61 victory over Kansas, Iowa State enters Saturday's contest at BYU with a 2-0 Big 12 record. The Cyclones will be facing the Cougars for the third time in program history but just the first time since 2002, making the trip to Provo for the first time since 1992.

2 – Two Iowa State freshmen have top five field goal percentages among NCAA DI freshmen. Audi Crooks (1st) and Addy Brown (5th) also rank second and eighth among all Big 12 players in the category.
9 – The Cyclones own one of the top marks in NCAA DI assists per game at 20.1 dimes per contest. The mark is ninth in DI and third in the Big 12. Addy Brown leads the Cyclones with 73 assists this season.
12 – ISU has outrebounded every opponent this season, averaging a margin of +13.5 per game. The margin is the 12th highest in NCAA Division I and second among conference opponents.

Iowa State moved to 2-0 in Big 12 play with a 69-61 win over Kansas on Wednesday night.
A trio of Cyclones scored in double figures, led by Hannah Belanger's game-high 19 points. Addy Brown and Audi Crooks chipped in 14 and 11 points, respectively. Iowa State made 10 3-pointers on 20 attempts, the fifth time this season the Cyclones have sank double digit triples. Following a slow start that left ISU trailing 17-8 after the first quarter, the Cyclones stormed back to tie the game at halftime and posted 45 points in the second half to come away with its fifth consecutive win. The Cyclones outrebounded the Jawhawks 40-27 (+13), meeting the average margin they had posted through the first 12 games.

REIGNING FROM THREE
As has been the case for decades, Iowa State is one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the country. Hannah Belanger leads the ISU effort from deep, canning 30 triples through 13 games and connecting on 38.5 percent of her attempts from deep. This season, ISU is Top 20 in NCAA DI and second in the Big 12 with 9.2 triples per game. The Cyclones have made 119 3-pointers this season, posting 10 or more made triples in five games this season.
