LAWRENCE, Kan. – Anna Supapitch Kuearum and Ashlee Narker picked up singles wins at the No.1 and No. 3 spots as the Cyclones (2-8, 0-3 Big 12) fell to Kansas, 5-2.

Narker went up against Kansas' Kyoka Kubo, taking the first set 6-4 and dropping the second set 4-6. She rallied and dominated the third set 6-1, giving her the point at the No. 3 singles spot.

Kuearum faced Gracie Mulville, dropping the first set 4-6 but came back taking the next set, 7-6, before rolling through the super breaker 1-0 (4). It marked Kuearum's third win in her last four singles matches.

In doubles action Narker and Valeska San Martin went up against Kansas' Heike Janse Van Vuuren and Jocelyn Massey. The pair battled hard, tying the set up at 3-3, before dropping the next three sets, falling in the match, 6-3. This win clinched the doubles point for Kansas, giving the Jayhawks a 2-0 lead over the Cyclones.

The Jayhawks clinched the match with wins at No. 5 and No. 2 singles.
