Cyclonitas Conclude NCAA Bryan Regional

BRYAN, Texas - The Cyclonitas completed the final round of the three-round NCAA Bryan Regional ending in seventh place with a three round score of 880.

No. 5 LSU ended the tournament in first with a score of eight-under-par. No. 26 SMU and No. 17 Clemson ended in a tie for second, four strokes behind No. 5 LSU. Ingrid Lindblad from No. 5 LSU claims the individual title at the tournament with a score of 12-under-par.

Senior Liyana Durisic completed her final golf meet as a Cyclonita in 12th place with the third round being her lowest. Durisic carded a 70, four strokes lower than her second round score of 74. On her final hole as a Cyclone, Durisic birdied the 18th. Keeley Marx came in second for the Cyclonitas after carding a third round 72. Marx tied for 13th, her best season finish with four birdies in the third round. Senior Tess Blair mirrored her second round score of 74 with back-to-back birdies on holes five and six.

Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn carded a score one stroke lower than her first and second rounds in the third. Chul-Ak-Sorn had back-to-back birdies on holes 10 and 11 with three more throughout the round. Pammy Chookaew ended in 57th place after carding a 74 in the third round, which is 10 strokes better then her first round score. Chookaew had a pair of birdies in the third round.

The Cyclonitas carded a third round score of 290, their best score of the tournament, improving from the second round by seven strokes.
