Cyclones Announce 2024-25 Men’s Golf Schedule

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State men's golf head coach Andrew Tank has announced the upcoming 2024-25 schedule. The Cyclones are slated to play in 11 regular season tournaments, followed by the Big 12 and NCAA Championships. Iowa State will travel to three new events this season, while returning to eight events they participated in last season.

The Cyclones open the season Sept. 8-9 at the Gopher Invitational in Independence, Minn. Iowa State travels to Cincinnati Sept. 16-17 for the Bearcat Invitational for the first time. Iowa State will close the month of September at the Zach Johnson Invitational in West Des Moines Sept. 23-24, an event the Cyclones won last fall.

Iowa State travels to Hockley, Texas Oct. 7-9 for Big 12 Match Play. The final event of the fall season will be the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational in Vero Beach, Fla. Oct. 13-14.

The spring season begins Feb. 3-4 at the N.I.T., hosted by Arizona in Tucson, Ariz. The Cyclones will then head to La Quinta, Calif. Feb. 17-19 for the Prestige at PGA West. Three tournaments in March have the Cyclones traveling to the Colleton River Collegiate March 2-3 in Bluffton, S.C. before heading Litchfield Park, Ariz. For the Gopher Tommie Invitational March 24-25. The Cyclones will have another event in Arizona March 31-April 1 at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, an event Iowa State took third place in last season.

Iowa State will look to defend its title at the Tiger Collegiate Invitational April 8-9 in Columbia, Mo. In the regular season finale.

The Big 12 Championship is scheduled for April 22-24 in Tulsa, Okla. NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 12-14, while the NCAA Championships are May 23-28 in Carlsbad, Calif.
