AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team is back in action at home on Sunday at 11 a.m. against Minnesota. The Cyclones will look for their first 3-0 start since the 2022 spring season.

Fans attending the match at the Iowa State Tennis Facility, which is located at 3700 University Boulevard south of Ames Fitness Center, are asked to park between the Ames Fitness Center and Alliant Energy Agricultural Innovation Center. Spectators can enter the doors on the south side of the facility, between the indoor and outdoor courts. There is spectator seating in the middle of the six courts. Fans are asked to stay in the spectator area.

THE SERIES
This will be the 38th all-time showdown between the Cyclones and Golden Gophers, with Minnesota leading the all-time series 34-3. The Gophers have won the last 33 matchups against the Cyclones, with ISU's last win in the series coming in 1976.
LAST TIME OUT
Iowa State went 2-0 in their Friday doubleheader against North Texas and Omaha. They defeated North Texas by a score of 5-2 and Omaha by a score of 4-0. The Cyclones did not drop a single doubles match and fell in only two total singles matches in the doubleheader.
PLAYER TO WATCH
Freshman Julia Camblor has been on a tear to start her collegiate career. Camblor has won 14 of her last 15 singles matches against unranked opponents going back to the fall. In the No. 1 singles spot against North Texas, Camblor won 12 of 13 total games against Gianna Pielet, a former player on Texas A&M's national quarterfinalist team in 2022-23.
