LUBBOCK, Texas – Iowa State is ready for Big 12 Championships hosted by Texas Tech Feb. 28 – March 1.

Events begin at 10 a.m. Friday with the multi-events and continue through 8 p.m. with the distance medley relay. Saturday the heptathlon continues beginning at 10 a.m., while field events begin at 1 p.m. and running events start at 2 p.m.
Last year, Jason Gómez (800m) and current Cyclone Cam Jones (shot put) took Big 12 titles and the men cemented fifth while the women took eighth.
The Cyclones have taken down seven school records so far this indoor season; men's and women's distance medley relay, women's 800m (Makayla Clark), 600y (Makayla Clark), women's mile (Maelle Porcher), men's mile (Emanuel Galdino) and heptathlon (Thai Thompson).
