LINCOLN, Nebraska. - Iowa State (7-11,1-5 Big 12) finished second to Nebraska (8-11, 3-6 Big 10), Temple (11-18, 3-5 EAGL) and Texas Woman's (6-10, 0-0 MIC)) on Friday night. ISU finished with 196.100, Nebraska first with a score of 196.400, Temple in last with a 194.550 and Texas Woman's in third with a 195.975.Â
The Iowa State Cyclones earned their season-high score at the last regular meet of the season at the Ameritas Master Classic. It was a quad meet with Nebraska, Temple, and Texas Women's. All around, it was a standout of a meet, with several gymnasts earning 9.85s or higher. Haylee Hardin and Noelle Adams both earned 9.9s on floor. Adams also scored 9.85 on beam. Hardin posted a 9.85 on vault as well. The freshman continues to be a powerhouse on vault and on floor. Â
The Cyclones will be traveling back to Salt Lake City next week for the Big 12 Championship. There they will face Utah, BYU, Arizona, Arizona State, Denver and West Virginia at the Maverick Center.
