FORT WORTH, Texas – Iowa State (21-7, 9-7 Big 12) gave No. 12 TCU (25-4, 13-3 Big 12) all it could handle but fell short 80-73 on the Horned Frogs' home court Sunday afternoon.

Iowa State led by 13 in the fourth quarter, putting TCU's 40-game home win streak at risk, but TCU's Olivia Miles led the comeback and had her fifth triple-double this season with 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. TCU's now 41-game streak at home ties for the longest in the nation.

Audi Crooks had a performance of 22 points, six rebounds and four assists, her 20th game this season with 20-plus points. Jada Williams added 15 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds for her seventh rebound this season, and Addy Brown had 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in her second game back following injury.

How it Happened

With TCU leading 5-3 to start, a three-point play by Crooks set ISU on its way to lead by as much as 10 in the first quarter. Crooks tallied eight points through the opener as the Cyclones took a 24-16 advantage to the second.

The lead grew to 11 (29-18) at the 7:35 mark after Arianna Jackson hit her second 3-pointer on as many attempts, causing the Horned Frogs to call a timeout. TCU went on to trim its deficit to four at 35-31 with three minutes remaining in the half, but an Alisa Williams layup and Jada Williams 3 followed to keep the Cyclones in front. The home team closed the quarter with a triple, sending the game to halftime at 40-34.

Jackson remained perfect from long range with seven minutes on the clock in the third, and after TCU made a bucket to pull within five at 45-40 Alisa Williams answered with a tough layup. The host then scored five straight to make it a one possession game (47-45) at the media timeout. Brown responded scoring four in a row denying TCU the lead, and the Cyclones pushed on to end the frame ahead 58-49.

A Brown 3-pointer made the Cyclones' lead by 12, and on ISU's next trip down the court Jada Williams sent in another, making the score 64-51. TCU's Olivia Miles had three-straight baskets as TCU pulled within single digits (68-62) at 4:39. Crooks then ended the run sending in a jumper, but TCU followed scoring five points in a row to come within one at 70-69. Following an ISU timeout with 2:54 to go, TCU took the lead for the first time since the first quarter at 71-70. The home team's run stretched to 14, giving TCU the 78-70 lead with under a minute remaining and TCU kept control from there winning it 80-73.

With its fifth assist of the day, Iowa State recorded its 550^th assist of the season. The Cyclones have finished each of the last two seasons with over 600 dimes and are a top five assisting team in the country this season.
With 22 points today, Audi Crooks extended her double-figure scoring streak to 94 games, the longest active streak in NCAA women's basketball. It is the longest streak among Big 12 players since Brittney Griner's 116-game streak.
The point total also marks her 61^st career 20-plus point performance.
Kenzie Hare's 3-pointer in the first quarter marked her 200^th career triple. She holds a .373 career 3-point percentage.
Jada Williams posted her seventh double-double of the season with 15 points and a game-high 11 assists.
Williams moved her season total to 213 assists, now the fifth-best single season mark at Iowa State. She passed previous marks from Emily Ryan (204) in eighth, Lindsey Wilson (209) at seventh, and Ryan and Nikki Moody (211) sharing fifth.
Williams also recorded her 250^th career rebound today.
