Cyclones Fall To No. 44 Baylor, 4-1

WACO, Texas – Iowa State dropped a 4-1 decision to No. 44 Baylor Friday afternoon at Hurd Tennis Center. The Cyclones fall to 2-8 overall and 0-4 in Big 12 action, while the Bears improve to 8-4 overall and 4-1 in Big 12 play.

Baylor cruised to the doubles point with wins on courts one and three, putting the Cyclones in an early hole.

Freshman Alicia Dale provided the highlight for the Cyclones with an impressive 6-3, 6-3 win against Baylor's Gabby Villegas to even the match at 1-1.

Baylor bounced back taking wins on the top three courts to win their third-straight match.

Iowa State returns to action Sunday against No. 19 TCU at 11 a.m.
