AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team hits the road this week for the first time in a month as they head to Lawrence, Kansas to take on the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday. The Cyclones will look to snap a four-match skid.

Iowa State gave No. 23 Texas Tech all it could handle at home on Sunday, but fell short, 4-2. Stanislava Shulzhenko and Suzanie Pretorius each picked up singles victories, while Ashlee Narker and Valeska San Martin Ramirez earned a doubles win.
PLAYER TO WATCH
Suzanie Pretorius won her only match this past weekend, defeating Texas Tech's Ella Brownback, 6-2, 6-2. The sophomore is now 11-8 in singles on the year and picked up the fifth career conference victory of her career.
