Made incredible run to the final of the 800-meter run at the U.S. Olympic Trials, running the three fastest times of his career across four days ... finished seventh in the final, clocking a personal best 1:45.56 to move up to No. 2 in Iowa State history ... in the final, finished ahead of 2019 IAAF World Champion Donavan Brazier ... clocked a then-personal best 1:46.15 in the first round and a 1:46.21 in the semifinals.

Indoor: Competed in six meets for Iowa State … qualified for NCAA Indoor Championships in the 800-meter run and was part of the relay pool for the distance medley relay, with the meet being canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak worldwide … ran third leg for title-winning distance medley relay and claimed silver medal in 800-meter run at the Big 12 Championships, helping ISU win the team title … ranked third in ISU history in 1,000 meter run with 2:21.56 at the Jimmy Grant Invite … notched season-best 1:48.58 in the 800 at the Cyclone Open … also competed at the Wieczorek Invite, Texas Tech Invitational and Iowa State Classic.

Outdoor: Finished sixth and scored in the 800m at the SEC Championships (5/11) … ran 1:48.96 for the second-fastest time in the prelims … placed ninth in the 800m at the Mt. SAC Relays (4/20) … crossed the line with the then-No. 2 time nationally in the 800m at the Crimson Tide Invitational (4/12), taking nearly three seconds off his personal best to finish in 1:47.06 … placed second in the 800m at the Bobcat Invitational (3/30), running 1:52.18 … opened the year on the sprint medley relay at the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays (3/22) where his team finished second … also placed fourth in the 4x400m relay the following day.

Outdoor: Ran the 800m at the SEC Championships (5/11), finishing in 1:51.66 … was part of the school record-setting and Championship of America-winning 4x800m relay at the Penn Relays (4/28), crossing the line in 7:14.16, the nation's best outdoor time of the season … also ran on the distance medley relay that won the college division in 9:49.85 … placed fifth in the 800m and second in the 4x800m relay at the Tennessee Relays (4/13) … helped post the third-fastest 4x800m relay time in school history (7:22.43) with a fourth-place finish at the Florida Relays (3/31) … also ran the 400m in 49.42 … won the 4x800m relay to open the season at the Bulldog Relays (3/23) and also posted a personal-best 49.32 in the 400m.
