Related Links More from Cyclones.tv Kim Mazza was instrumental in helping jumpstart the Iowa State gymnastics program in her time in Ames from 1994-97. Mazza scored the first perfect 10 in Iowa State and Big 12 history when she recorded the ultimate feat in the floor exercise at the 1997 Big 12 Championship en route to the league title. She is one of three Cyclones in school history to record a perfect 10 and she still owns the school-record score in the floor exercise. A two-time Academic All-America pick and NCAA qualifier, Mazza was named Iowa State's Female Athlete of the Year in 1997. She is currently the head gymnastics coach at Illinois, qualifying for two NCAA Championships in three seasons. Mazza Highlights | |||
