Snapchat Filter Contest
Iowa State Athletics will be hosting a Snapchat filter contest to give Cyclone fans the chance to create an original Snapchat filter design. The best designs will be chosen to be featured at an Iowa State home football game during the 2016 season. One filter will be selected each week. Winners will receive two tickets to the game of which their design was chosen, or a $50 Visa gift card. The filter must be specific to the Iowa State football team and/or Jack Trice Stadium. The contest will begin on Monday, August 22 and will end on Friday, September 9. All designs must be submitted by September 9 to be considered. Please see the rules below for specific guidelines.
- The PNG must have a width of 1080 pixels (3.6 inches) and a height of 1920 pixels (6.4 inches)
- Must have a transparent background
- Leave a 149-pixel buffer zone on the top and bottom of the design
- Save for web as a PNG-24
- Avoid borders that cover all four edges of the screen
- Allowed to use any University trademarked logos and slogans (i.e. The Nation Rises, Cyclone Power, Storm Warning)
- Logos and slogans of other teams are not permitted
- Must be original and creative without using material you do not personally have rights to
