The safety of all participants and fans remains our top priority. We have thoroughly discussed many mitigation options and encourage you to review those measures. Desktop | Mobile
As the University communicated on Sept. 24 (click here), a limited number of fans will be allowed to attend Iowa State football games this season, beginning with Oklahoma on Oct. 3.
- To provide sufficient social distancing in the student section, the University has decided to limit capacity to 1,000 seats per game and restrict access to various areas of the student section to further create space between groups of students. Student tickets will be RESERVED seating this year.
- The Athletics Ticket Office will automatically issue full refunds for the price of the student season ticket (including service fees) to all students who purchased a season ticket.
- The Athletics Department will conduct a random drawing, among the 3,800 students who kept their tickets, to determine which students will receive the 1,000 complimentary tickets for each home game.
PLEASE NOTE: Student tickets for the remaining games (Texas Tech, Baylor, Kansas State and West Virginia) will be contingent upon how well students comply with mitigation rules at the Oklahoma game and how well students comply with the University’s social gathering policy.
- Students selected to receive a complimentary, reserved ticket for Oklahoma (Oct. 3) or Texas Tech game (Oct. 10) will be contacted by the Athletics Ticket Office by Sept. 25 (via email). Lottery details for the remaining home games will be communicated at a later date.
PLEASE NOTE: All students, who chose to keep their ticket, will be offered the chance to attend at least one (1) home game this season.
Â
- We have been made aware of many student tickets being posted for sale on different online sites. Please note that complimentary student tickets are NOT to be sold. We are providing student tickets at no charge in order to give all students (who originally purchased a student season ticket this year) a chance to attend a game. If it is brought to our attention that a student is trying to sell their complimentary ticket for a game their account will be suspended and tickets revoked.
If you have any questions please contact the Iowa State Athletics Ticket Office by email at tickets@iastate.edu.
