Lydia Durisic
Women's Golf
Ranked No. 125 nationally by Golfweek, she was second on the team with a 73.03 stroke average. In three years in the Cyclone lineup, Durisic has the lowest career stroke average in school history at 73.04. She opened the season with her first collegiate victory, winning the Wolverine Intercollegiate with a 210 (71-67-72). She also turned in top 10 finishes at The Bruzzy (T-5th) and the Big 12 Championship (T-8th).
Dana Feyen
Women's Cross Country
Feyen ran in all six meets for Iowa State, helping the Cyclones to a ninth-place team finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. She was ISU’s fourth across the line at the NCAA Championships, taking 106th place in a time of 20:32.3. She earned her second career All-Big 12 cross country honor with an eighth-place finish at the Big 12 Championship. In the classroom, Feyen has been named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team twice and the Academic All-Big 12 First Team four times.
Cebastian Gentil
Men's Track & Field
Gentil is a three-time All-American and has qualified for the NCAA Championships in multiple events for the Cyclones. Last season, Gentil competed in eight meets for Iowa State. In the classroom, he has been named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.Â
Trinity Kay
Swimming & Diving
Kay holds one of the fastest 100 fly times in ISU history. She earned her first career All-Big 12 honors last season after finishing fifth in the 100 fly and eighth in the 200 IM. She has also been named an Academic All-Big 12 First-Team member twice and was named an Academic All-Big 12 Rookie team member in 2019-20.
Caleb Grill
Men's Basketball
Grill played in all 35 games last season for the Cyclones and finished fourth on the team in scoring average. He made a team-high 57 3-pointers last season and had six games with at least four 3-pointers. Grill reached double-figure points in nine games a season ago. Last season, he was named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.
Kaylyn Hall
Women's Track & Field
Hall has competed for Iowa State at the Big 12 Indoor and outdoor Championships every season since coming to Ames in 2018. Last season, she qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries in both the 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles. In the classroom, Hall has been on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll multiple times and earned a spot on the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.
Annie Hatch
Volleyball
A two-time Academic All-Big 12 First-Team member, Hatch has been a consistent presence at the net and in the classroom. Across her three years at ISU, she has 647 kills, 245 digs and 105 blocks.Â
Isaac Judge
Wrestling
Judge is a two-time Academic All-Big 12 First-Team member. He earned the spot at 165 pounds in the Iowa State postseason lineup, finishing the year with a 15-14 overall record. He earned his biggest win of the season at Wyoming, where he pinned No. 15 Cole Moody in 1:15. Judge picked up a pair of wins at the Big 12 Championship, earning a sixth-place finish. His five falls led the Cyclones in 2021-22.
Morgan Kane
Women's Basketball
Kane competed in 34 games for the Cyclones last season, starting in 30 contests. She averaged career-highs in both points (7.4) and rebounds (4.9). Kane scored in double figures on 11 occasions and notched three double-digit rebounding games. She has been named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team three times during her ISU career.
Miska Kadleckova
Tennis
Since arriving in Ames, Kadleckova has put together an impressive resume. She helped the Cyclones advance to the NCAA Championships for the first time in school history in 2020-21 and became the fourth Cyclone in program history to earn All-Big 12 accolades. In 2022, she posted an 18-8 record and now carries a 70-29 (.707) career record. Academically, Kadleckova has been named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team and is an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
Madelyn Langkamp
Gymnastics
Langkamp has competed in more than 20 meets on the bars and floor in her four year Cyclone career. Her career high on the bars is a 9.850, while her best mark on the floor is 9.800. Langkamp is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team member and was named a WCGA Scholastic All-American in 2020.Â
Gable Sieperda
Men's Cross Country
Sieperda ran for Iowa State in all five meets in 2021, helping guide the Cyclones to a second-place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. He earned his first career USTFCCCA All-Midwest Region honor with his 12th-place finish at the Midwest Regional. Sieperda was named All-Big 12 for the second-straight season with an eighth-place finish at Big 12 Championships. He’s a four-time Academic All-Big 12 First-Team honoree.
Carli Spelhaug
Softball
Spelhaug has appeared in 132 career games, making 131 starts. Since arriving In Ames, Spelhaug has posted a .319 batting average with 133 hits and 123 runs. She is 43-for-44 in stolen base attempts in her career. Her 52 runs last season led the team, while her six home runs were the second-most on the team. Spelhaug was named an All-Big 12 Second Team pick at the conclusion of the 2022 season. Academically, Spelhaug was named a CoSIDA Academic All-District Team member in 2022 and has also been named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team twice.
Eva Steckelberg
Soccer
Steckelberg has appeared in 36 games over the course of her career at Iowa State, drawing 28 starts. She is a two-time Academic All-Big 12 First-Team member and has also been named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Nate Vance
Men's Golf
An Academic All-Big 12 Second Team selection, Vance was third on the Cyclones with a 73.4 stroke average and second with 85 birdies last season. Vance tied for 14th at the Big 12 Championships with a 217, recording 71 in each of the final two rounds for his best finish of the year. Vance also turned in top 25 finishes at the Hootie Intercollegiate and the Hawkeye Invitational.Â
O'Rien Vance
Football
Vance played in 10 games while making eight starts a season ago. He finished the season with 36 tackles, 2.5 TFL, a sack, one pass breakup and four QB hurries. He was named the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl Defensive MVP in 2020. He enters his senior year with 194 tackles, 22.0 TFL, 10.0 sacks and four fumble recoveries in his career. Vance has been named Academic All-Big 12 team twice.
