Outdoor: Was in three meets for Iowa State … ran to a personal-best 31:29.81 to finish ninth in the 10,000m run at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships … clocked a season-best 14:17.39 in the 5,000 at the Bryan Clay Invitational … also ran the 5K at the Stanford Invitational.
Indoor: Partook in three meets for the Cyclones … finished 10th in the 5,000 (14:37.22) at the Big 12 Indoor Championships … clocked a personal best 8:24.53 in the 3,000 at the Iowa State Classic … also ran in the 3K at the Razorback Invitational.
XC: Was a key part to Iowa State’s historic season … finished 53rd at the NCAA Championships, just outside of All-America contention … was one of five Iowa Staters to earn All-Region honors, finishing 18th at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships with a time of 29:37.74 … All-Big 12 performer, aiding in Iowa State’s first Big 12 title, finishing 11th at the Big 12 Championships in 24:22.5 … finished 103rd at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational … debuted at the Hawkeye Invitational, finishing seventh in his first race in Cardinal and Gold.

Liberty’s No. 1 runner for most of the 2016 campaign, including the final four races… finished 22nd individually (third among freshmen) at the NCAA Southeast Regional, pushing Liberty to a ninth-place finsish… Liberty’s first all-region performer since 2013 and first freshman since 2004… Earned Big South Freshman of the Year… finished third at the Big South meet, which was the best finish by an Flame freshman since 2004.
