Was the second man across the line in four cross country meets ... at the Big 12 Championships, clocked 25:12 in the 8K to place 36th among 98 athletes helping the Cyclones to a sixth-place finish ... placed 14th among 347 athletes at the Jim Drews Invitational with a time of 24:50.4 which helped ISU to a fourth-place finish ... was the 58th man across the line among 225 competitors at the Roy Griak Invitational ... placed second behind teammate Kiel Uhl at the ISU Open ... redshirted outdoor and indoor track seasons.
Before ISU:
Was the 2004 indoor NAIA champion in the mile (4:14.71) and the 1000 meters ... a personal-best time of 1:48.62 earned him the NAIA outdoor 800-meter title and he was also part of the third-place 4x800-meter relay team ... in his 2003 indoor season, he was the NAIA champion in the 1000 meters (2:28.27) and was also part of the victorious distance medley and 4x800-meter relay teams ... in 2002, placed third at the NAIA national outdoor meet in the 800 meters ... runner-up in the 2004 Drake Relays.
