Outdoors, qualified for the NCAA Championships in the triple jump where he leapt a personal best measurement of 50-9 1/2 to place 18th in the prelims of the event ... took sixth in the triple jump at the Midwest Regional with a mark of 50-6 1/4 and fifth in the event at the Big 12 Championships (49-10 1/2) ... also captured third in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships a jump of 25-2 ... leapt 24-6 1/4 in the event at the Nebraska Invitational to place third and notched an 11th place finish at the Midwest Regional (23-8 1/4) ... Indoors, redshirted.
2004:
Outdoors, NCAA qualifier in the long jump ... placed sixth at the NCAA Midwest Regional in the long jump (25-4 1/2) ... earned second-place honors in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships with a personal-best leap of 25-05 1/4 ... that mark also made him seventh on the ISU All-Time Performance list... also was league triple jump finalist with personal best mark of 48-9 ... captured third at the Drake Relays in the long jump (24-5 1/2) ... Indoors, placed fourth with personal best in the triple jump (49-0 1/4) and fifth in the long jump (24-2 1/2) at the Big 12 Championships.
2003:
Outdoors, captured a long-jump title at the Simpson Twilight with a season best 23-6 ... marked 22-3 3/4 at Iowa Musco Twilight for an eighth-place finish ... at the Clemson Invitational, leaped 22-10 1/2 for seventh-place ... Indoors, finished 3rd in the ISU Open with a season-best long jump of 23-11 ... leapt to a fifth-place finish in the triple jump at the Iowa State Open with a season-best high jump of 46-10 3/4 feet.
2002:
Outdoors, redshirted ... Indoors, recorded a season-best long jump of 24-0 1/4 to place sixth at the Iowa State Classic ... finished seventh in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships (23-2) ... placed first at the Minnesota Invitational (22-11 1/4), second at the UNI Invitational (23-6) and fourth at the UNI-Dome Open (23-8) in the long jump ... finished fifth in the triple jump at the Minnesota Invitational with a mark of 46-3 1/2.

Was the 2001 Illinois Class AA long jump champion with a leap of 23-11 ... placed third in the triple jump, marking a prep personal-best 46-7 1/2 ... placed sixth in the long jump at the 2000 Illinois state meet (22-9 3/4) ... has a personal-best high school long jump mark of 24-7 and a personal-best high jump of 6-6 ... also was an all-conference and honorable mention all-state guard on the Quincy basketball team.
