Iowa State Gymnasts Defeat the Pioneers But Fall to the Gators

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Freshman Erin Dethloff took second place in the all-around at the Florida Triangular, but her effort left the Cyclones in second place (195.825) defeated Denver (195.475), but falling to Florida (197.475).
Dethloff scored a 39.375 in the all-around competition for second place behind
Cyclone senior Karen Kuplicki tied for third place on the vault setting a season-high score of 9.85. Szmuch grabbed first place (9.90), and fellow gator Lindsey Miner claimed second (9.875).
