AMES, Iowa -- Freshman Janet Anson recorded a perfect 10 on the vault Sunday afternoon as Iowa State went on to tie Nebraska, 198.00-198.00, in Lincoln. On the vault, sophomore Erin Dethloff matched her season-high with a 9.90, tying with fellow sophomore Laura-Kay Powell. Freshman Katie Lasher and sophomore Krystal Carney both earned scores of 9.875. The Cyclones marked a school-best team total on the vault with a 49.55. On the uneven bars, Dethloff scored a 9.90, followed by teammates Lasher and Anson with totals of 9.875. Powell ended the event with a 9.85.
On the balance beam, Dethloff matched her career-best with a 9.95. Powell followed with a 9.925 performance, and senior Chee Chee Calina tied with Anson, recording a 9.90.
In the floor exercise, Dethloff equaled her career-best with a 9.975. Senior Gabby Layne recorded a 9.85, followed by Anson and Powell, who tied with a 9.925.
In the all-around competition, Anson and Powell both notched career-best scores. Anson finished the night with a total of 39.70, while Powell ended with a 39.60.
