LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - Anne O'Neil had 18 points and nine rebounds to lead No. 24 Iowa State to a 70-37 victory over Kansas on Wednesday night.
The Cyclones (13-1, 3-0 Big 12) held a 15-point lead with 17:22 remaining, and put the game out of reach with a 20-3 run.
Katie Robinette and Mary Fox each added 11 points for Iowa State, ranked in the Top 25 for the first time since Nov. 25, 2002.
Taylor McIntosh finished with eight points and eight rebounds, and Kaylee Brown also scored eight points for Kansas (7-7, 0-3), which had the second-lowest point total in school history. The Jayhawks scored just 35 points in a loss to Colorado on Jan. 16, 2002.
The Jayhawks shot 13-for-52 from the field and just 44 percent from the line. Iowa State shot 25-for-58 from the field.
Kansas dropped its third straight to a ranked opponent, following losses to No. 12 Texas and No. 23 Kansas State.
