ISU to Host Events in Des Moines, Dec. 10-16

The Iowa State men's and women's basketball teams will play the Mediacom Cyclone Capital Classic at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Dec. 16, but fans can gear up for the games with a week loaded full of Iowa State events in the Capital City beginning Dec. 10.

The week will kickoff at the Jordan Creek Town Center on Sunday, Dec. 10, from 1-3 p.m. The ISU Alumni Association will sponsor an event at the Iowa Star's hockey game at Wells Fargo Arena on Tuesday, Dec. 12. On Thursday, the ISU College of Business, College of Engineering and College of Design will all host functions in addition to Wells Fargo and Iowa State hosting the Greater Des Moines Partnership's Business After Hours at Wells Fargo Arena from 5-7 p.m.

Both Cyclone head coaches, Greg McDermott and Bill Fennelly, will speak at the Greater Des Moines Cyclones Club Luncheon on Friday at the Holiday Inn-Downtown at 11:30 a.m., and the club will host a pregame breakfast on Saturday at 9 a.m.

The ISU women will take on Saint Louis at 11 a.m. Saturday and the men will follow by taking on Bradley at 2 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena. Basketball tickets can be purchased at the Wells Fargo Arena box office or by calling 1-866-55-dahls or online at www.dahlstickets.com.
