1. What's your favorite thing about being a student at
I've made friends with a diverse group of people.
2. What's your favorite thing about being a gymnast at
I love being on a team with girls who really care about each other and work well together.
3. Why did you choose
It's close to home, good academics, and, of course, the gymnastics team is awesome!
4. When did you begin participating in gymnastics?
I did little “tumble-tot” classes starting when I was 2 years young.
5. Who's your funniest teammate?
Yam (Kristi Bellinger), especially when she's trying to kick-box J
6. What's your favorite sport other than gymnastics?
Well, when I was little, I told my dad that I wanted to be a professional football player.
7. Do you have any hidden talents?
I've been published in a poetry anthology.
8. Tell us something the average person wouldn't know about you...
I truly am a hippie (peace, love, and happiness).
9. What's your favorite class?
Calculus!
10. What's your favorite TV show?
Spongebob Squarepants!!
11. When I'm not at class or practice, I'm probably...
(what do you like to do in your free time?)
Saving the world one plastic bottle at a time.
12. Do you have any pre-meet rituals?
I listen to loud music and visualize all of my routines.
13. What is your favorite part about competing in Hilton Coliseum?
I haven't competed there yet, but I'm super excited to do so!
14. What is the most fun you've had on an ISU gymnastics road trip?
I haven't had one yet, but I'm really excited to travel with the team!
15. What's the best advice you've ever been given?
Believe you can do it before it happens.
16. If you could have dinner with any three people (living or deceased), who would they be?
17. Where would your dream vacation be?
An African safari!
18. You're trapped on a deserted island, but can have three items... what are they?
Spongebob Squarepants, chocolate, and a box of Kleenex.
19. Tell us something you'd want us to know about your teammates...
Everyone is loud, funny and beautiful.
20. How would you describe this team?
Because I am an only child, these women are the closest to sisters that I have.
