CYber CYd with Jacquelyn Holmes

Hi all you Cyclone fans! I am really excited to be able to let you all in on what is happening in our Cyclone lives. As may know, our preseason has just gotten underway and everyone is looking great! I am so excited to be welcoming three new best friends to the team this year, our freshmen, Michelle (Browning), Celine (Paulus) and Shea (Anderson). I can't wait for them to see just how fun and loving our team is.

This year is going to be very exciting because we have made some nice changes in the gym. We have all made personal and team goals on how we can push ourselves to do AMAZING things this year. Another part we changed is our conditioning. It is much harder and a lot more than last year but it always leaves me feeling great after practice! Everyone's muscles are ripping out and we are all on our way to having eight packs.

As for our injury list, names are being crossed off really fast. Alex (Grant) and I rehabbed very hard this summer, and it is really paying off. I am really proud of us! Jasmine (Thompson), Ceil (Celia Maccani), Mel (Melanie Tham) and Jennio (Jennifer Hornbaker) also had some injuries after the season, and looking at them now, I would have never guessed they were hurt just a while ago.

A couple of us went to the ISU vs. Iowa football game this last weekend and the result was not what we wanted, but football games are always fun. We will get them next year! Well, that's all that's going on in our Cyclone lives for now...Stay updated with us!
