Hello Cyclone fans,
The season has started and everyone is so excited that it is here. Our first two meets were at home and that's always great because so many of our fans can come and support us. But, this weekend we are headed to Auburn, Ala. to take on the Auburn Tigers. This will be an exciting meet because there will be lots of great gymnastics going head-to-head.
Road trips are so much fun, and I'm excited for our freshmen to experience their first road trip. The best part of our road trips is that everyone is constantly laughing and having a good time. Many of you all may not know, but the ISU Gymnastics team is very loud and bubbly, so every minute is always entertaining. There are many awesome perks when we are traveling. We go to the best restaurants and stay in the nicest hotels. Everyone gets a different teammate to stay in the hotel room with them each trip. This is cool because we can all get to know each other even more.
I am really excited about this away meet because my parents are going to be able to come because North Carolina is not that far away. It is going to be fun for my parents to see us compete live instead of over the computer. I love it when fans are able to make our away meets. It is just so nice to hear people cheering for us in someone else's house.
Wish us luck this weekend as we head to Auburn. I know this is going to be an amazing trip.
Go Cyclones!
