CYber CYd With Kaylee Manns: The Final Day Of Tryouts
Hey Fellow Cyclones,
It's our last day in Colorado Springs. We had tournament play this morning in each session. Victoria and I got to to play on the same team! Yeah! We played four tournament games this morning against all sorts of other players and they evaluated each of us during this time. Mass went in at 10 a.m. and did the same thing with her group.
We are all pretty tired and sore from the hectic weekend. We have to ride the 12:15 p.m. shuttle from the Training Center to the airport. Our flight leaves at around 2 p.m. and then we have another layover in Denver before catching our final flight home. We are all very excited to sleep in our own beds again and get back to school.
This weekend was such a great experience. We got to play with some of the best players in the nation, and get reaquainted with those we knew from the past. All the Big 12 players were extremely nice and it will be a lot different playing against them next year since we know now them as people off the court. Hope you enjoyed reading all about our exciting trip to Colorado Springs. Now time for spring season! Remember, we play our only home spring tournament on April 11 at the Forker Building. Hope to see you there!
