OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. ? Jessica Morrow scored 24 points and Baylor overcame a fierce second-half rally by Iowa State to down the Cyclones, 63-57, in the semifinals of the Big 12 Championships Sunday at the Cox Convention Center.
The Cyclones (24-8) trailed by as many as 12 points in the second half before going on a 15-4 run capped by an Amanda Nisleit three-pointer that gave ISU its first lead (47-46) since holding a 6-5 edge early in the game.

Jocelyn Anderson then knocked down a short jumper to increase the lead to three before Kelli Griffin hit a shot to close it back to one point (49-48) with 5:37 remaining. On the next possession Nisleit drilled her third three-pointer of the contest to give ISU its biggest lead of the game at 52-48.
But Morrow was too much as the senior hit back-to-back threes and Baylor went on an 8-0 run to go on top 56-52. The Cyclones closed the deficit to one point on a three from the corner by Alison Lacey but Morrow came through again with a jumper in the lane to extend the Baylor lead to three (58-55) again.
The Cyclones weren't done though as Lacey came through with a pair of free throws to again get ISU back within a point before Morrow hit her sixth three-pointer of the contest to make it 61-57 with 1:40 left. ISU missed on its next trip down and Griffin knocked in two from the charity stripe to seal the deal. The Lady Bears finished the game 12-of-14 from the line with their only misses coming with 14.8 seconds left in the game.
The game started slow with both teams struggling from the field early and ISU holding a 6-5 lead four minutes into the game. It didn't take long before the three-pointers started falling with Morrow pouring in 11 points in the first 10 minutes to give the Bears an 18-14 lead.
The Lady Bears' lead was extended to six points (20-14) after Morghan Medlock knocked in a jumper. Heather Ezell then dropped in her first three of the game to cut into the lead but BU had a response each time ISU got closer. With a minute remaining in the opening period, Ezell hit another long ball to close it to 25-22 Baylor, but Griffin hit her only shot of the half, a three-pointer, on the very next possession to send the Lady Bears into the break with a 28-22 lead.
Iowa State got 13 points from Nisleit and 12 each from Lacey and Nicky Wieben. Ezell scored six points after missing Friday night's game with a hand injury.
The teams combined for 20 three-pointers in the game with ISU hitting on 11-of-24 attempts and Baylor connecting on 9-of-14 from downtown.
The Cyclones await their postseason destination with the NCAA Selection Show being held Monday at 6 p.m. (CT) on ESPN.
