AMES, Iowa?The Cyclone Gymnastics Camp is returning June 14-18.
The camp offers specific instruction for gymnasts of all levels of skills, from beginner to elite and in all events. Furthermore, Cyclone Gymnastics Camp allows gymnasts to have access to the facilities of the Iowa State gymnastics team and the Cyclone coaches.
The coaching staff offers a day camp for commuters and an overnight camp. Gymnasts aged 5 to 18 are welcome, but they must be at least eight years old to participate in the overnight camp.
Each session includes daily gymnastics rotations in the morning and afternoon, with evening entertainment activities, including open gym, swimming, a scavenger hunt and a karaoke night.
Adding to this year's camp is a new half-day option designed for tumbling only. It is a great camp for those interested in cheerleading or basic tumbling skills.
