No. 17 ISU Gymnasts Will Travel to UCLA For Regional

AMES, Iowa?The 17th-ranked Iowa State gymnastics team will travel to Los Angeles, Calif., for its April 10 NCAA Regional meet in the Pauley Pavilion at 8 p.m. Central Standard Time the NCAA announced Monday. No. 3 UCLA will play host to the meet that will also include No. 9 Arkansas, No. 21 Arizona, BYU and Arizona State.
The top two teams from the NCAA Regional will advance to the NCAA Championships April 22-24 in Gainesville, Fla.
The only one of its five NCAA Regional opponents the Cyclones have faced this season is BYU, and ISU won that competition 195.625-192.050 Jan. 29 in Hilton Coliseum.
Iowa State has now qualified for 14 consecutive NCAA Regional competitions.
