Williamson Leads Ankeny to State Crown, All-Tourney Captain

AMES, Iowa - Incoming Iowa State soccer freshman Alyssa Williamson helped Ankeny to the Class 3-A Iowa girls' state tournament title with a 1-0 shootout win over Iowa City West, the first state title in school history.
Williamson was named the all-tournament team captain following Ankeny's win in the title game.
Williamson helped the top-ranked Hawkettes to a 21-1 overall season record.
